Woke up at about 6am took a cold shower and headed out for some coffee. Nothing was open except the 24 hour circle K. So I got a cold nescafe and sat at a closed restaurant until they opened. I started planing my next move because i know this is not the place for me. It is full of drunk partying Australian guys acting like idiots. So I think I'm going to use the number from the ex-pat to get on a boat to the Gili Islands. From what I have read there are nice beaches with a low key atmosphere. Enjoyed breakfast of coffee and eggs. Started to try to get ahold of the connection to the Gili's but i don't think its going to happen. The phones connect about half the time. Next I walked around the shops to pick up some gifts for back home. It is absolutely exhausting saying the word "no" to everyone selling anything they can get there hands on. I picked up a few things and paid for my bus rides and ferry trip to the Gili's. The rest of the day I could barely keep my eyes open. I laid on the beach, getting burnt and rejecting the hawkers every 10 minutes. One lady woke me up by starting to massage my feet. I went into the water twice to find I couldn't swim without garbage sticking to my body..... I'm pretty excited to get out of this place in the morning. Probably the best sunset I have seen in my life.
